Alpenfest 2016

alpenfest logo newOregon's Alpenfest, a family-oriented, fun-filled Swiss-Bavarian festival, will take place Thursday, Sept. 22nd, through Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, with performances at the Edelweiss Inn at Wallowa Lake.

Polka dancing will return with teachers Randy and Ashley Thull as well as Swiss yodeler Arthur Brogli, the Tirolean Dancers of Oregon, local alphornist Bruce Coutant and accordionists galore.

Also featured will be Joseph Trading Post bratwurst, the official sausage of Alpenfest; Alpenfest Sauerkraut, and Terminal Gravity Vienna-style Alpenfest ale.
